Then Pharaohsaidto him, "Getawayfrom me! Beware,do not seemy faceagain,for in the dayyou seemy faceyou shall die!"
Then Asawas angrywith the seerand puthim in prison,for he was enragedat him for this.And Asaoppressedsomeof the peopleat the sametime.
As he was talkingwith him, the king saidto him, "Have we appointedyou a royalcounselor?Stop!Whyshould you be struckdown?"Then the prophetstoppedand said,"I knowthat Godhas plannedto destroyyou, becauseyou have donethisand have not listenedto my counsel."
"Not so!Gonow,the men[among you], and servethe LORD,for that is what you desire."So they were drivenout from Pharaoh'spresence.
The otherwas namedEliezer,for [he said], "The Godof my fatherwas my help,and deliveredme from the swordof Pharaoh."
"But nolongerprophesyat Bethel,for it is a sanctuaryof the kingand a royalresidence."
By faithhe leftEgypt,not fearingthe wrathof the king;for he endured,as seeingHim who is unseen.
