Then it happened[as] the arkof the LORDcameinto the cityof Davidthat Michalthe daughterof Saullookedout of the windowand sawKingDavidleapingand dancingbeforethe LORD;and she despisedhim in her heart.
Now in the reignof Ahasuerus,in the beginningof his reign,they wrotean accusationagainstthe inhabitantsof Judahand Jerusalem.
In the presenceof the kingand the princes,Memucansaid,"QueenVashtihas wrongednot onlythe kingbut [also] allthe princesand allthe peopleswhoare in allthe provincesof KingAhasuerus.
"Thisdaythe ladiesof Persiaand Mediawhohave heardof the queen'sconductwill speakin [the same way] to allthe king'sprinces,and there will be plentyof contemptand anger.
Nevertheless,eachindividualamong you alsois to lovehis ownwifeeven as himself,and the wifemust [see to it] that she respectsher husband.
