For the husbandis the headof the wife,as Christalsois the headof the church,He Himself[being] the Saviorof the body.
"Be on guardfor yourselvesand for allthe flock,amongwhichthe HolySpirithas madeyou overseers,to shepherdthe churchof GodwhichHe purchasedwith His ownblood.
Foodis for the stomachand the stomachis for food,but Godwill do awaywith bothof them. Yetthe bodyis not for immorality,but for the Lord,and the Lordis for the body.
but speaking the truthin love,we are to growup in all[aspects] into Him whois the head,[even] Christ,
But as the churchis subjectto Christ,soalsothe wives[ought to be] to their husbandsin everything.
He is alsoheadof the body,the church;and He is the beginning,the firstbornfrom the dead,sothat He Himselfwill cometo have first placein everything.
and to waitfor His Sonfrom heaven,whomHe raisedfrom the dead,[that is] Jesus,who rescuesus from the wrathto come.
"Let us rejoiceand be gladand givethe gloryto Him, for the marriageof the Lambhas comeand His bridehas madeherselfready."
And they sanga newsong,saying,"Worthyare You to takethe bookand to breakits seals;for You were slain,and purchasedfor Godwith Your blood[men] from everytribeand tongueand peopleand nation.
