that, in referenceto your formermanner of life,you lay asidethe oldself,which is being corruptedin accordancewith the lustsof deceit,
"Ifyou returnto the Almighty,you will be restored;If you removeunrighteousnessfarfrom your tent,
The wickedearnsdeceptivewages,But he who sowsrighteousness[gets] a true reward.
"The heartis moredeceitfulthanallelse And is desperatelysick;Whocan understandit?
"As for the terrorof you, The arroganceof your hearthas deceivedyou, O you who livein the cleftsof the rock,Who occupythe heightof the hill.Thoughyou makeyour nestas highas an eagle's,I will bringyou downfrom there,"declaresthe LORD.

knowingthis,that our oldselfwas crucifiedwith [Him], in orderthat our bodyof sinmight be done awaywith, so that we would no longerbe slavesto sin;
for sin,takingan opportunitythroughthe commandment,deceivedme and throughit killedme.
But I am afraidthat, as the serpentdeceivedEveby his craftiness,your mindswill be led astrayfrom the simplicityand purity[of devotion] to Christ.
For you have heardof my formermanner of lifein Judaism,howI used to persecutethe churchof Godbeyondmeasureand tried to destroyit;
Amongthem we tooallformerlylivedin the lustsof our flesh,indulgingthe desiresof the fleshand of the mind,and were by naturechildrenof wrath,evenas the rest.
SothisI say,and affirmtogetherwith the Lord,that you walkno longerjustas the Gentilesalsowalk,in the futilityof their mind,
Therefore,laying asidefalsehood,SPEAKTRUTHEACH ONE[of you] WITH HIS NEIGHBOR,for we are membersof one another.
Let allbitternessand wrathand angerand clamorand slanderbe put awayfrom you, alongwith allmalice.
and in Him you were alsocircumcisedwith a circumcisionmade without hands,in the removalof the bodyof the fleshby the circumcisionof Christ;
For we alsooncewere foolishourselves,disobedient,deceived,enslavedto variouslustsand pleasures,spending our lifein maliceand envy,hateful,hatingone another.
Therefore,since we haveso greata cloudof witnessessurroundingus, let us alsolay asideeveryencumbranceand the sinwhich so easily entanglesus, and let us runwith endurancethe racethat is set beforeus,
But encourageone anotherdayafterday,as longas it is [still] called"Today,"sothat noneof you will be hardenedby the deceitfulnessof sin.
Therefore,putting asideallfilthinessand [all] that remainsof wickedness,in humilityreceivethe wordimplanted,which is ableto saveyour souls.
Ifanyonethinkshimself to be religious,and yet does not bridlehis tonguebut deceiveshis [own] heart,this man'sreligionis worthless.

For the timealready pastis sufficient[for] [you] to have carriedout the desireof the Gentiles,having pursued a courseof sensuality,lusts,drunkenness,carousing,drinking partiesand abominableidolatries.
suffering wrongas the wagesof doing wrong.They countit a pleasureto revelin the daytime.They are stainsand blemishes,revelingin their deceptions,as they carousewith you,
and [if] He rescuedrighteousLot,oppressedby the sensualconductof unprincipled men
