"But they doalltheir deedsto be noticedby men;for they broadentheir phylacteriesand lengthenthe tassels[of their garments].
"You shall therefore impressthesewordsof mine on your heartand on your soul;and you shall bindthem as a signon your hand,and they shall be as frontalson your forehead.
For thisreasonwe mustpaymuch closerattentionto what we have heard,sothat we do not drift away[from it].
