"Keepthe chargeof the LORDyour God,to walkin His ways,to keepHis statutes,His commandments,His ordinances,and His testimonies,according to what is writtenin the Lawof Moses,that you may succeedin allthat you doand whereveryou turn,
I have inheritedYour testimoniesforever,For they are the joyof my heart.
I have rejoicedin the wayof Your testimonies,As muchas in allriches.
How blessedare those who observeHis testimonies,Who seekHim with all[their] heart.
Takeawayreproachand contemptfrom me, For I observeYour testimonies.
Your testimoniesalsoare my delight;[They are] my counselors.Daleth.

I shall givethanksto You with uprightnessof heart,When I learnYour righteousjudgments.

Now thisis the lawwhichMosessetbeforethe sonsof Israel;
acrossthe Jordan,in the valleyoppositeBeth-peor,in the landof Sihonkingof the Amoriteswholivedat Heshbon,whomMosesand the sonsof Israeldefeatedwhen they cameout from Egypt.
"You should diligentlykeepthe commandmentsof the LORDyour God,and His testimoniesand His statuteswhichHe has commandedyou.
"Whenyour sonasksyou in timeto come,saying,'What[do] the testimoniesand the statutesand the judgments[mean] whichthe LORDour Godcommandedyou?'
