ifyou obeythe LORDyour Godto keepHis commandmentsand His statuteswhich are writtenin thisbookof the law,ifyou turnto the LORDyour Godwith allyour heartand soul.
"But from thereyou will seekthe LORDyour God,and you will find[Him] ifyou searchfor Him with allyour heartand allyour soul.
Circumcisionis nothing,and uncircumcisionis nothing,but [what matters is] the keepingof the commandmentsof God.
but [if] you returnto Me and keepMy commandmentsand dothem, thoughthose of you who have been scatteredwere in the mostremotepartof the heavens,I will gatherthem from thereand will bringthem to the placewhereI have chosento cause My nameto dwell.'
"And you shall againobeythe LORD,and observeallHis commandmentswhichI commandyou today.
and you returnto the LORDyour Godand obeyHim with allyour heartand soulaccording to allthat I commandyou today,you and your sons,
but [kept] declaringbothto thoseof Damascusfirst,and [also] at Jerusalemand [then] throughout allthe regionof Judea,and [even] to the Gentiles,that they should repentand turnto God,performingdeedsappropriateto repentance.
"Thereforerepentand return,sothat your sinsmay be wiped away,in orderthat timesof refreshingmay comefrom the presenceof the Lord;
"But when the wickedturnsfrom his wickednessand practicesjusticeand righteousness,he will liveby them.
"But when I sayto the wicked,'You will surelydie,'and he turnsfrom his sinand practicesjusticeand righteousness,
"Sayto them, 'As I live!'declaresthe LordGOD,'I takenopleasurein the deathof the wicked,but ratherthat the wickedturnfrom his wayand live.Turnback,turnbackfrom your evilways!Whythen will you die,O houseof Israel?'
"But ifthe wickedmanturnsfrom allhis sinswhichhe has committedand observesallMy statutesand practicesjusticeand righteousness,he shall surelylive;he shall not die.
"Then the LORDwill singlehim out for adversityfrom allthe tribesof Israel,according to allthe cursesof the covenantwhich are writtenin thisbookof the law.
"For thiscommandmentwhichI commandyou todayis not toodifficultfor you, noris it out of reach.
"You shall lovethe LORDyour Godwith allyour heartand with allyour souland with allyour might.
"Those whoare faroff will comeand buildthe templeof the LORD."Then you will knowthat the LORDof hostshas sentme to you. And it will takeplaceifyou completelyobeythe LORDyour God.
