"They spendthe nightnaked,withoutclothing,And havenocoveringagainst the cold.
"Others snatchthe orphanfrom the breast,And againstthe poorthey takea pledge.
"You shall remainoutside,and the manto whomyou makethe loanshall bringthe pledgeout to you.
"When the sungoesdown you shall surelyreturnthe pledgeto him, that he may sleepin his cloakand blessyou; and it will be righteousnessfor you beforethe LORDyour God.
"You shall not pervertthe justicedue an alien[or] an orphan,nortakea widow'sgarmentin pledge.
