Its foliage[was] beautifuland its fruitabundant,And in it [was] foodfor all.The beastsof the fieldfoundshadeunderit, And the birdsof the skydweltin its branches,And alllivingcreaturesfedthemselves from it.

At the scentof waterit will flourishAnd putforthsprigslikea plant.
The breathof our nostrils,the LORD'Sanointed,Was capturedin their pits,Of whomwe had said,"Under his shadowWe shall liveamong the nations."
"On the highmountainof IsraelI will plantit, that it may bringforthboughsand bearfruitand becomea statelycedar.And birdsof everykindwill nestunderit; they will nestin the shadeof its branches.
"They alsowentdownwith it to Sheolto those who were slainby the sword;and those who were its strengthlivedunder its shadeamongthe nations.
He shoutedout and spokeas follows:"Chopdownthe treeand cutoffits branches,Stripoffits foliageand scatterits fruit;Let the beastsfleefrom underit And the birdsfrom its branches.
and thisis smallerthan all[other] seeds,but whenit is full grown,it is largerthan the garden plantsand becomesa tree,sothat THE BIRDSOF THE AIRcomeand NESTIN ITS BRANCHES."
