They were amazedand astonished,saying,"Why,are not allthesewho are speakingGalileans?
And they allcontinued in amazementand great perplexity,sayingto oneanother,"Whatdoes thismean?"
They alsosaid,"Menof Galilee,whydo you standlookinginto the sky?ThisJesus,who has been takenup from you into heaven,will comein justthe same wayas you have watchedHim gointo heaven."
They answeredhim, "You are not alsofrom Galilee,are you? Search,and seethat noprophetarisesout of Galilee."
and they were taking noteof him as beingthe one who used to sitat the BeautifulGateof the templeto [beg] alms,and they were filledwith wonderand amazementat what had happenedto him.
And he gotup and immediatelypickedup the palletand wentout in the sightof everyone,sothat they were allamazedand were glorifyingGod,saying,"We have neverseenanything like this."
They were allamazed,sothat they debatedamong themselves,saying,"Whatis this?A newteachingwith authority!He commandseventhe uncleanspirits,and they obeyHim."
A littlelaterthe bystanderscameup and saidto Peter,"Surelyyou tooare [one] of them; for eventhe way you talkgivesyou away."
And the crowdswere saying,"Thisis the prophetJesus,from Nazarethin Galilee."
Nowwhen Jesusheard[this], He marveledand saidto thosewho were following,"TrulyI sayto you, I have not foundsuch greatfaithwith anyonein Israel.
"And howis it that we eachhear[them] in our ownlanguageto whichwe were born?
