But avoidfoolishcontroversiesand genealogiesand strifeand disputesabout the Law,for they are unprofitableand worthless.
But refusefoolishand ignorantspeculations,knowingthat they producequarrels.
norto pay attentionto mythsand endlessgenealogies,whichgive riseto mere speculationratherthan[furthering] the administrationof Godwhich is by faith.
especiallybecause you are an expertin allcustomsand questionsamong[the] Jews;thereforeI begyou to listento me patiently.

saying,"I have sinnedby betrayinginnocentblood."But they said,"Whatis that to us? See[to that] yourself!"
saying,"This manpersuadesmento worshipGodcontraryto the law."
