And he tookthem that [very] hourof the nightand washedtheir wounds,and immediatelyhe was baptized,he and allhis [household].
NowI did baptizealsothe householdof Stephanas;beyondthat, I do not knowwhetherI baptizedanyother.
And whenshe and her householdhad been baptized,she urgedus, saying,"Ifyou have judgedme to be faithfulto the Lord,comeinto my houseand stay."And she prevailedupon us.
But aboutmidnightPauland Silaswere prayingand singing hymns of praiseto God,and the prisonerswere listeningto them;
For you were calledto freedom,brethren;only[do] not [turn] your freedominto an opportunityfor the flesh,but throughloveserveone another.
For in ChristJesusneithercircumcisionnoruncircumcisionmeansanything,but faithworkingthroughlove.
When they had struckthem with manyblows,they threwthem into prison,commandingthe jailerto guardthem securely;
And Jesussaidto him, "Todaysalvationhas cometo thishouse,becausehe, too,is a sonof Abraham.
When a man'swaysare pleasingto the LORD,He makesevenhis enemiesto be at peacewith him.
and they were being baptizedby him in the JordanRiver,as they confessedtheir sins.
And they spokethe wordof the Lordto him togetherwith allwhowere in his house.
Correspondingto that, baptismnowsavesyou-- not the removalof dirtfrom the flesh,but an appealto Godfor a goodconscience--throughthe resurrectionof JesusChrist,
