When they arrivedat Jerusalem,they were receivedby the churchand the apostlesand the elders,and they reportedallthat Godhad donewith them.
"He who receivesyou receivesMe, and he who receivesMe receivesHim who sentMe.
And thisthey did,sendingit in chargeof Barnabasand Saulto the elders.
When they had arrivedand gatheredthe churchtogether,they [began] to reportall thingsthat Godhad donewith them and howHe had openeda doorof faithto the Gentiles.
Allthe peoplekept silent,and they were listeningto Barnabasand Paulas they were relatingwhatsignsand wondersGodhad donethroughthem amongthe Gentiles.
And when Pauland Barnabashadgreatdissensionand debatewith them, [the brethren] determinedthat Pauland Barnabasand someothersof them should goup to Jerusalemto the apostlesand eldersconcerningthisissue.
Thenit seemed goodto the apostlesand the elders,with the wholechurch,to choosemenfrom amongthem to sendto Antiochwith Pauland Barnabas--JudascalledBarsabbas,and Silas,leadingmenamongthe brethren,
Therefore,being sent on their wayby the church,they were passing throughbothPhoeniciaand Samaria,describing in detailthe conversionof the Gentiles,and were bringinggreatjoyto allthe brethren.
The apostlesand the elderscame togetherto lookinto thismatter.
Nowwhilethey were passing throughthe cities,they were deliveringthe decreeswhich had been decidedupon by the apostlesand elderswhowere in Jerusalem,for them to observe.
And when he wantedto go acrossto Achaia,the brethrenencouragedhim and wroteto the disciplesto welcomehim; and when he had arrived,he greatlyhelpedthosewho had believedthroughgrace,
Afterwe arrivedin Jerusalem,the brethrenreceivedus gladly.
After he had greetedthem, he [began] to relateone by onethe things whichGodhad doneamongthe Gentilesthroughhis ministry.
For I will not presumeto speakof anythingexceptwhatChristhas accomplishedthroughme, resultingin the obedienceof the Gentilesby wordand deed,
Therefore,acceptone another,justas Christalsoacceptedus to the gloryof God.
But by the graceof GodI amwhatI am,and His gracetowardme did not provevain;but I laboredeven morethan allof them, yetnot I, but the graceof Godwith me.
namely,that Godwas in Christreconcilingthe worldto Himself,not countingtheir trespassesagainst them, and He has committedto us the wordof reconciliation.
And working together[with Him], we alsourgeyou not to receivethe graceof Godin vain--
Aristarchus,my fellow prisoner,sends you his greetings;and [also] Barnabas'scousinMark(aboutwhomyou receivedinstructions;ifhe comesto you, welcomehim);
Ifanyonecomesto you and does not bringthisteaching,do not receivehim into [your] house,and do not givehim a greeting;
