After they had preached the gospelto that cityand had mademanydisciples,they returnedto Lystraand to Iconiumand to Antioch,
But Jewscamefrom Antiochand Iconium,and having won overthe crowds,they stonedPauland draggedhim out of the city,supposinghim to be dead.
In Iconiumthey enteredthe synagogueof the Jewstogether,and spokein such a mannerthat a largenumber of peoplebelieved,bothof Jewsand of Greeks.
But they shook offthe dustof their feet[in protest] againstthem and wentto Iconium.
persecutions,[and] sufferings,suchas happenedto me at Antioch,at Iconium[and] at Lystra;whatpersecutionsI endured,and out of them allthe Lordrescuedme!
they became awareof it and fledto the citiesof Lycaonia,Lystraand Derbe,and the surrounding region;
But goingon from Perga,they arrivedat PisidianAntioch,and on the Sabbathdaythey wentinto the synagogueand sat down.
"Gothereforeand make disciplesof allthe nations,baptizingthem in the nameof the Fatherand the Sonand the HolySpirit,
and he was well spokenof by the brethrenwho were in Lystraand Iconium.
AftersomedaysPaulsaidto Barnabas,"Let us returnand visitthe brethrenin everycityin whichwe proclaimedthe wordof the Lord,[and see] howthey are."
At Lystraa manwas sittingwhohad no strengthin his feet,lamefrom his mother'swomb,whohad neverwalked.
praisingGodand havingfavorwith allthe people.And the Lordwas addingto their numberday by daythosewho were being saved.
and therethey continued to preach the gospel.
and saying,"Men,whyare you doingthese things?We are alsomenof the same natureas you, and preach the gospelto you that you should turnfrom thesevain thingsto a livingGod,WHOMADETHE HEAVENAND THE EARTHAND THE SEAAND ALLTHAT IS IN THEM.
From therethey sailedto Antioch,from whichthey had beencommendedto the graceof Godfor the workthat they had accomplished.
