Thenthey returnedto Jerusalemfrom the mountcalledOlivet,whichis nearJerusalem,a Sabbathday's journeyaway.
In that dayHis feetwill standon the Mountof Olives,whichis in frontof Jerusalemon the east;and the Mountof Oliveswill be splitin its middlefrom eastto westby a verylargevalley,so that halfof the mountainwill movetoward the northand the other halftoward the south.
Whenthey had approachedJerusalemand had cometo Bethphage,at the Mountof Olives,thenJesussenttwodisciples,
"But praythat your flightwill not be in the winter,oron a Sabbath.
As He was sittingon the Mountof Olives,the disciplescameto Him privately,saying, "Tellus, whenwill these thingshappen,and what[will be] the signof Your coming,and of the endof the age?"
After singing a hymn,they wentout to the Mountof Olives.
WhenHe approachedBethphageand Bethany,nearthe mountthat is calledOlivet,He senttwoof the disciples,
Nowduring the dayHe was teachingin the temple,but at eveningHe would goout and spend the nighton the mountthat is calledOlivet.
And He ledthem out as faras Bethany,and He liftedup His handsand blessedthem.
And they, after worshipingHim, returnedto Jerusalemwith greatjoy,
NowBethanywas nearJerusalem,abouttwomilesoff;
