So the kingsummonedJehoiadathe chief[priest] and saidto him, "Whyhave you not requiredthe Levitesto bringin from Judahand from Jerusalemthe levy[fixed by] Mosesthe servantof the LORDon the congregationof Israelfor the tentof the testimony?"
Like a shepherdHe will tendHis flock,In His armHe will gatherthe lambsAnd carry[them] in His bosom;He will gently leadthe nursing[ewes].
When he had comenearthe dento Daniel,he criedout with a troubledvoice.The kingspokeand saidto Daniel,"Daniel,servantof the livingGod,has your God,whomyou constantlyserve,beenableto deliveryou from the lions?"
"HE WILL NOT QUARREL,NORCRYOUT; NORWILL ANYONEHEARHIS VOICEIN THE STREETS.
Thenthe Jews[began] to arguewith one another,saying,"Howcanthis mangiveus [His] fleshto eat?"
And when Pauland Barnabashadgreatdissensionand debatewith them, [the brethren] determinedthat Pauland Barnabasand someothersof them should goup to Jerusalemto the apostlesand eldersconcerningthisissue.
And there occurreda greatuproar;and someof the scribesof the Pharisaicpartystoodup and [began] to argue heatedly,saying,"We findnothingwrongwith thisman;supposea spiritoran angelhas spokento him?"
"On the followingdayhe appearedto them as they were fighting together,and he tried to reconcilethem in peace,saying,'Men,you are brethren,whydo you injureone another?'
NowI, Paul,myselfurgeyou by the meeknessand gentlenessof Christ--I whoam meekwhen face to facewith you, but boldtowardyou when absent!
for the weaponsof our warfareare not of the flesh,but divinelypowerfulfor the destructionof fortresses.
but in everythingcommendingourselvesas servantsof God,in muchendurance,in afflictions,in hardships,in distresses,
But the fruitof the Spiritis love,joy,peace,patience,kindness,goodness,faithfulness,
with allhumilityand gentleness,with patience,showing tolerancefor one anotherin love,
So Mosesthe servantof the LORDdiedtherein the landof Moab,accordingto the wordof the LORD.
Doall thingswithoutgrumblingordisputing;
Do nothingfrom selfishnessorempty conceit,but with humility of mindregardone anotheras more importantthan yourselves;
bearingwith one another,and forgivingeach other,whoeverhasa complaintagainstanyone;justas the Lordforgaveyou, soalsoshould you.
But we provedto be gentleamongyou, as a nursing[mother] tenderly caresfor her ownchildren.
But fleefrom these things,you manof God,and pursuerighteousness,godliness,faith,love,perseverance[and] gentleness.

To sumup, allof you be harmonious,sympathetic,brotherly,kindhearted,and humble in spirit;
Beloved,while I was makingeveryeffortto writeyou aboutour commonsalvation,I feltthe necessityto writeto you appealingthat you contend earnestlyfor the faithwhich was once for allhanded downto the saints.
