Nathansaidto the king,"Go,doallthat is in your mind,for the LORDis with you."
"Goand sayto My servantDavid,'Thussaysthe LORD,"Are you the one who should buildMe a houseto dwellin?
Sincethe daythat I broughtMy peopleIsraelfrom Egypt,I did not choosea cityout of allthe tribesof Israel[in which] to builda housethat My namemight be there,but I choseDavidto be overMy peopleIsrael.'
