But these,likeunreasoninganimals,bornas creatures of instinctto be capturedand killed,revilingwherethey have no knowledge,will in the destructionof thosecreatures alsobe destroyed,
For he sees[that even] wisemendie;The stupidand the senselessalikeperishAnd leavetheir wealthto others.
A senselessmanhasnoknowledge,Nordoes a stupidmanunderstandthis:
Payheed,you senselessamong the people;And whenwill you understand,stupidones?
The wickedis thrustdownby his wrongdoing,But the righteoushasa refugewhen he dies.
For the shepherdshave becomestupidAnd have not soughtthe LORD;Thereforethey have not prospered,And alltheir flockis scattered.
But they are altogetherstupidand foolish[In their] disciplineof delusion--their idol is wood!
But You knowme, O LORD;You seeme; And You examinemy heart's[attitude] towardYou. Dragthem offlike sheepfor the slaughterAnd setthem apartfor a dayof carnage!
"For My peopleare foolish,They knowMe not; They are stupidchildrenAnd havenounderstanding.They are shrewdto doevil,But to dogoodthey do not know."
Then I said,"They are onlythe poor,They are foolish;For they do not knowthe wayof the LORD[Or] the ordinanceof their God.
I will pourout My indignationon you; I will blowon you with the fireof My wrath,and I will giveyou into the handof brutalmen,skilledin destruction.
deeds of coveting[and] wickedness,[as well] [as] deceit,sensuality,envy,slander,pride[and] foolishness.
ThenHe saidagainto them, "I goaway,and you will seekMe, and will diein your sin;whereI am going,you cannotcome."
For the one who sowsto his ownfleshwill from the fleshreapcorruption,but the one who sowsto the Spiritwill from the Spiritreapeternallife.
(whichall[refer] [to] things destined to perishwith use)--in accordancewith the commandmentsand teachingsof men?
For by theseHe has grantedto us His preciousand magnificentpromises,sothat by them you may becomepartakersof [the] divinenature,having escapedthe corruptionthat is in the worldby lust.
promisingthem freedomwhile they themselvesare slavesof corruption;for by whata manis overcome,by thishe is enslaved.
But these menrevilethe things whichthey do not understand;and the things whichthey knowby instinct,likeunreasoninganimals,by these thingsthey are destroyed.
