He criedagainstthe altarby the wordof the LORD,and said,"O altar,altar,thussaysthe LORD,'Behold,a sonshall be bornto the houseof David,Josiahby name;and on you he shall sacrificethe priestsof the highplaceswho burnincenseon you, and humanbonesshall be burnedon you.'"

Manassehwas twelveyearsoldwhen he becameking,and he reignedfifty-fiveyearsin Jerusalem;and his mother'snamewas Hephzibah.
Then the peopleof the landkilledallthose who had conspiredagainstKingAmon,and the peopleof the landmadeJosiahhis sonkingin his place.
He was buriedin his gravein the gardenof Uzza,and Josiahhis sonbecamekingin his place.
From the mouthof infantsand nursingbabesYou have establishedstrengthBecauseof Your adversaries,To make the enemyand the revengefulcease.
Woeto you, O land,whosekingis a ladand whose princesfeastin the morning.
And I will makemere ladstheir princes,And capriciouschildrenwill ruleover them,
to whomthe wordof the LORDcamein the daysof Josiahthe sonof Amon,kingof Judah,in the thirteenthyearof his reign.
