"Truly,O LORD,the kingsof Assyriahave devastatedthe nationsand their lands
So the kingof Assyrialistenedto him; and the kingof Assyriawentup againstDamascusand capturedit, and carried[the people of] it awayinto exileto Kir,and putRezinto death.
The kingof Assyriabrought[men] from Babylonand from Cuthahand from Avvaand from Hamathand Sephar-vaim,and settled[them] in the citiesof Samariain placeof the sonsof Israel.So they possessedSamariaand livedin its cities.
In the ninthyearof Hoshea,the kingof AssyriacapturedSamariaand carriedIsraelawayinto exileto Assyria,and settledthem in Halahand Habor,[on] the riverof Gozan,and in the citiesof the Medes.
Has anyoneof the godsof the nationsdeliveredhis landfrom the handof the kingof Assyria?

In my earsthe LORDof hosts[has sworn], "Surely,manyhousesshall becomedesolate,[Even] greatand fineones,withoutoccupants.
"Onlyknowfor certainthat ifyou putme to death,you will bringinnocentbloodon yourselves, and on thiscityand on its inhabitants;for trulythe LORDhas sentme to you to speakallthesewordsin your hearing."
The kingansweredDanieland said,"Surelyyour Godis a Godof godsand a Lordof kingsand a revealerof mysteries,sinceyou have beenableto revealthismystery."
And thosewho were in the boatworshipedHim, saying,"You are certainlyGod'sSon!"
After aboutan hourhad passed,another man[began] to insist,saying,"Certainlythis manalsowas with Him, for he is a Galileantoo."
"For trulyin thiscitythere were gathered togetheragainstYour holyservantJesus,whomYou anointed,bothHerodand PontiusPilate,alongwith the Gentilesand the peoplesof Israel,
the secretsof his heartare disclosed;and sohe will fallon his faceand worshipGod,declaringthat Godis certainlyamongyou.
