"But the LORDyour Godyou shall fear;and He will deliveryou from the handof allyour enemies."
So while thesenationsfearedthe LORD,they also servedtheir idols;their childrenlikewiseand their grandchildren,as their fathersdid,so they doto thisday.
and walkedin the customsof the nationswhomthe LORDhad drivenout beforethe sonsof Israel,and [in the customs] of the kingsof Israelwhichthey had introduced.
"Can the Ethiopianchangehis skinOr the leopardhis spots?[Then] you alsocandogoodWho are accustomedto doingevil.
"Thereyou will servegods,the workof man'shands,woodand stone,whichneitherseenorhearnoreatnorsmell.
