In thosedaysthe LORDbeganto sendRezinkingof Aramand Pekahthe sonof Remaliahagainst Judah.
In the seventeenthyearof Pekahthe sonof Remaliah,Ahazthe sonof Jotham,kingof Judah,becameking.
So Joramsleptwith his fathersand was buriedwith his fathersin the cityof David;and Ahaziahhis sonbecamekingin his place.
Ahazhis son,Hezekiahhis son,Manassehhis son,
And Jothamsleptwith his fathers,and they buriedhim in the cityof David;and Ahazhis sonbecamekingin his place.
Ahaz[was] twentyyearsoldwhen he becameking,and he reignedsixteenyearsin Jerusalem;and he did not dorightin the sightof the LORDas Davidhis father[had done].
Uzziahwas the fatherof Jotham,Jothamthe fatherof Ahaz,and Ahazthe fatherof Hezekiah.
