I urgedTitus[to go], and I sentthe brotherwith him. Titusdid not take any advantageof you, did he? Did we not conduct ourselvesin the samespirit[and walk] in the samesteps?
Moreover,from the daythat I was appointedto be their governorin the landof Judah,from the twentiethyearto the thirty-secondyearof KingArtaxerxes,[for] twelveyears,neitherI normy kinsmenhave eatenthe governor'sfood[allowance].
Then Mosesbecameveryangryand saidto the LORD,"Do not regardtheir offering!I have not takena singledonkeyfrom them, norhave I doneharmto anyof them."

Whatdo you desire?Shall I cometo you with a rod,orwith loveand a spiritof gentleness?

But God,who comfortsthe depressed,comfortedus by the comingof Titus;
Sowe urgedTitusthat as he had previously made a beginning,sohe would alsocompletein you thisgracious workas well.
For you have been calledfor thispurpose, sinceChristalsosufferedfor you, leavingyou an examplefor you to followin His steps,
