So Solomonobservedthe feastat that timefor sevendays,and allIsraelwith him, a verygreatassembly[who came] from the entranceof Hamathto the brookof Egypt.
On that daythe LORDmadea covenantwith Abram,saying,"To your descendantsI have giventhisland,From the riverof Egyptas faras the greatriver,the riverEuphrates:
Allthe menof Israelassembledthemselves to KingSolomonat the feast,in the monthEthanim,whichis the seventhmonth.
So Solomonobservedthe feastat that time,and allIsraelwith him, a greatassemblyfrom the entranceof Hamathto the brookof Egypt,beforethe LORDour God,for sevendaysand seven[more] days,[even] fourteendays.
Now manypeoplewere gatheredat Jerusalemto celebratethe Feastof UnleavenedBreadin the secondmonth,a verylargeassembly.
So there was greatjoyin Jerusalem,becausethere was nothinglike thisin Jerusalemsincethe daysof Solomonthe sonof David,kingof Israel.
Allthe menof Israelassembledthemselves to the kingat the feast,that is [in] the seventhmonth.
"In the seventh[month], on the fifteenthdayof the month,at the feast,he shall providelike this,sevendaysfor the sinoffering,the burntoffering,the grain offeringand the oil."
"The westside[shall be] the GreatSea,from the [south] borderto a point oppositeLebo-hamath.Thisis the westside.
"For behold,I am going to raiseup a nationagainstyou, O houseof Israel,"declaresthe LORDGodof hosts,"And they will afflictyou from the entranceof HamathTo the brookof the Arabah."
Nowthe feastof the Jews,the Feast of Booths,was near.
