For the cherubimspreadtheir wingsoverthe placeof the ark,so that the cherubimmadea coveringoverthe arkand its poles.
Then the priestsbroughtthe arkof the covenantof the LORDto its place,into the innersanctuaryof the house,to the holyof holies,underthe wingsof the cherubim.
The poleswere so longthat the endsof the polesof the arkcould be seenin frontof the innersanctuary,but they could not be seenoutside;and they are thereto thisday.
and they shall laya coveringof porpoiseskinon it, and shall spreadover[it] a clothof pureblue,and shall insertits poles.
