Manassehwas twelveyearsoldwhen he becameking,and he reignedfifty-fiveyearsin Jerusalem.
Ahazhis son,Hezekiahhis son,Manassehhis son,
So Hezekiahsleptwith his fathers,and they buriedhim in the uppersectionof the tombsof the sonsof David;and allJudahand the inhabitantsof Jerusalemhonoredhim at his death.And his sonManassehbecamekingin his place.
Woeto you, O land,whosekingis a ladand whose princesfeastin the morning.
O My people!Their oppressorsare children,And womenruleover them. O My people!Those who guideyou lead[you] astrayAnd confusethe directionof your paths.
And I will makemere ladstheir princes,And capriciouschildrenwill ruleover them,
"I will makethem an objectof horroramong allthe kingdomsof the earthbecauseof Manasseh,the sonof Hezekiah,the kingof Judah,for whathe didin Jerusalem.
Hezekiahwas the fatherof Manasseh,Manassehthe fatherof Amon, and Amonthe fatherof Josiah.
