"But whoam I and whoare my peoplethat we should be ableto offeras generously as this?For allthingscome from You, and from Your handwe have givenYou.
"Since I know,O my God,that You trythe heartand delightin uprightness,I, in the integrityof my heart,have willinglyofferedallthese[things]; so nowwith joyI have seenYour people,who are presenthere,make[their] offeringswillinglyto You.
Then the peoplerejoicedbecausethey had offeredso willingly,for they madetheir offeringto the LORDwith a wholeheart,and KingDavidalsorejoicedgreatly.
and nextto him [was] Johananthe commander,and with him 280,000;
and of Benjamin,Eliadaa valiantwarrior,and with him 200,000armedwith bowand shield;
Your peoplewill volunteerfreelyin the dayof Your power;In holyarray,from the wombof the dawn,Your youthare to You [as] the dew.
For ifthe readinessis present,it is acceptableaccordingto what [a person] has,not accordingto what he does not have.
"That the leadersledin Israel,That the peoplevolunteered,Blessthe LORD!
"My heart[goes out] to the commandersof Israel,The volunteersamong the people;Blessthe LORD!
