When David'syoungmencame,they spoketo Nabalaccording to allthesewordsin David'sname;then they waited.

Now when the sonsof the prophetswho[were] at Jerichoopposite[him] sawhim, they said,"The spiritof Elijahrestson Elisha."And they cameto meethim and bowedthemselves to the groundbefore him.
For he saidto Judah,"Let us buildthesecitiesand surround[them] with wallsand towers,gatesand bars.The landis stilloursbecausewe have soughtthe LORDour God;we have soughtHim, and He has givenus reston everyside."So they builtand prospered.
But NabalansweredDavid'sservantsand said,"Whois David?And whois the sonof Jesse?There are manyservantstodaywho are eachbreakingawayfrom his master.
Askyour youngmenand they will tellyou. Therefore let [my] youngmenfindfavorin your eyes,for we have comeon a festiveday.Pleasegivewhateveryou findat handto your servantsand to your sonDavid.'"
