He saidto his mother,"The elevenhundred[pieces] of silverwhichwere takenfrom you, about which you uttereda cursein my hearing,behold,the silveris with me; I tookit." And his mothersaid,"Blessedbe my sonby the LORD."
"May the LORDrewardyour work,and your wagesbe fullfrom the LORD,the Godof Israel,underwhosewingsyou have cometo seekrefuge."
Thus he saidto him, "Do not be afraid,becausethe handof Saulmy fatherwill not findyou, and you will be kingoverIsraeland I will be nextto you; and Saulmy fatherknowsthat also."
Saulsaid,"May you be blessedof the LORD,for you have hadcompassionon me.
"The LORDwill repayeachman[for] his righteousnessand his faithfulness;for the LORDdeliveredyou into [my] handtoday,but I refusedto stretchout my handagainst the LORD'Sanointed.
Then Saulsaidto David,"Blessedare you, my sonDavid;you will bothaccomplishmuchand surelyprevail."So Davidwenton his way,and Saulreturnedto his place.
