"And behold,I will sendthe lad,[saying], 'Go,findthe arrows.'IfI specificallysayto the lad,'Behold,the arrowsare on thissideof you, getthem,' then come;for there is safetyfor you and noharm,as the LORDlives.
When the ladreachedthe placeof the arrowwhichJonathanhad shot,Jonathancalledafterthe ladand said,"Is not the arrowbeyondyou?"
Jonathansaidto David,"Goin safety,inasmuchas we have swornto eachotherin the nameof the LORD,saying,The LORDwill be betweenme and you, and betweenmy descendantsand your descendantsforever.'"Then he roseand departed,while Jonathanwentinto the city.
