"WhenJacobwentinto Egyptand your fatherscriedout to the LORD,then the LORDsentMosesand Aaronwho broughtyour fathersout of Egyptand settledthem in thisplace.
"And Jacobwent downto Egyptand [there] he and our fathersdied.
He gavethem also the landsof the nations,That they might takepossessionof [the fruit of] the peoples'labor,
Then Samuelsaidto the people,"It is the LORDwhoappointedMosesand Aaronand whobroughtyour fathersup from the landof Egypt.
and he saidto the sonsof Israel,"Thussaysthe LORD,the Godof Israel,'I broughtIsraelup from Egypt,and I deliveredyou from the handof the Egyptiansand from the powerof allthe kingdomsthat were oppressingyou.'
"Be strongand courageous,for you shall givethispeoplepossessionof the landwhichI sworeto their fathersto givethem.
that our fatherswentdownto Egypt,and we stayedin Egypta longtime,and the Egyptianstreatedus and our fathersbadly.
And on that samedaythe LORDbroughtthe sonsof Israelout of the landof Egyptby their hosts.
It was [the same] Aaronand Mosesto whomthe LORDsaid,"Bringout the sonsof Israelfrom the landof Egyptaccordingto their hosts."
So the LORDgaveIsraelallthe landwhichHe had swornto giveto their fathers,and they possessedit and livedin it.
