It cameabout at the seventh[time], that he said,"Behold,a cloudas smallas a man'shandis comingup from the sea."And he said,"Goup, sayto Ahab,Prepare[your chariot] and godown,so that the [heavy] showerdoes not stopyou.'"
Now behold,a prophetapproachedAhabkingof Israeland said,"Thussaysthe LORD,'Have you seenallthisgreatmultitude?Behold,I will deliverthem into your handtoday,and you shall knowthat I am the LORD.'"
Then he musteredthe youngmenof the rulersof the provinces,and there were 232;and afterthem he musteredallthe people,[even] allthe sonsof Israel,7000
The youngmenof the rulersof the provinceswentout first;and Ben-hadadsentout and they toldhim, saying,"Menhave comeout from Samaria."
Thus Davidprevailedoverthe Philistinewith a slingand a stone,and he struckthe Philistineand killedhim; but therewas noswordin David'shand.
