"May it fallon the headof Joaband on allhis father'shouse;and may there not failfrom the houseof Joabone who has a discharge,or who is a leper,or who takesholdof a distaff,or who fallsby the sword,or who lacksbread."
So Benaiahcameto the tentof the LORDand saidto him, "Thusthe kinghas said,'Comeout.'" But he said,"No,for I will diehere."And Benaiahbroughtthe kingwordagain,saying,"ThusspokeJoab,and thushe answeredme."
SurelyI have seenyesterdaythe bloodof Nabothand the bloodof his sons,'saysthe LORD,and I will repayyou in thisproperty,'saysthe LORD.Nowthen, takeand casthim into the property,according to the wordof the LORD."
