Now in the eighteenthyearof KingJeroboam,the sonof Nebat,AbijambecamekingoverJudah.
And Asasleptwith his fathersand was buriedwith his fathersin the cityof Davidhis father;and Jehoshaphathis sonreignedin his place.
He walkedin allthe sinsof his fatherwhichhe had committedbeforehim; and his heartwas not whollydevotedto the LORDhis God,like the heartof his fatherDavid.
