Then Bathshebabowedand prostratedherself before the king.And the kingsaid,"Whatdo you wish?"
So Bathshebawentin to the kingin the bedroom.Now the kingwas veryold,and Abishagthe Shunammitewas ministeringto the king.
She saidto him, "My lord,you sworeto your maidservantby the LORDyour God,[saying], 'Surelyyour sonSolomonshall be kingafterme and he shall siton my throne.'
They toldthe king,saying,"Hereis Nathanthe prophet."And when he camein beforethe king,he prostratedhimself before the kingwith his faceto the ground.
Then she said,"I am makingonesmallrequestof you; do not refuseme." And the kingsaidto her, "Ask,my mother,for I will not refuseyou."
And the kingsaidto Estheron the seconddayalsoas they dranktheir wineat the banquet,"Whatis your petition,QueenEsther?It shall be grantedyou. And whatis your request?Evento halfof the kingdomit shall be done."
And He saidto her, "Whatdo you wish?"She said to Him, "Commandthat in Your kingdomthesetwosonsof minemay sitoneon Your rightand oneon Your left."
And Jesusstoppedand calledthem, and said,"Whatdo you wantMe to dofor you?"
When the ladwas gone,Davidrosefrom the southsideand fellon his faceto the ground,and bowedthreetimes.And they kissedeachotherand wepttogether,but David[wept] the more.
Now afterwardDavidaroseand wentout of the caveand calledafterSaul,saying,"My lordthe king!"And when Saullookedbehindhim, Davidbowedwith his faceto the groundand prostratedhimself.
When AbigailsawDavid,she hurriedand dismountedfrom her donkey,and fellon her facebeforeDavidand bowedherself to the ground.
