And we knowthat the Sonof Godhas come,and has givenus understandingsothat we may knowHim whois true;and we are in Him who is true,in His SonJesusChrist.Thisis the true Godand eternallife.
"Thussaysthe LORD,the Kingof Israeland his Redeemer,the LORDof hosts:I am the firstand I am the last,And thereis noGodbesidesMe.
"For your husbandis your Maker,Whose nameis the LORDof hosts;And your Redeemeris the HolyOneof Israel,Who is calledthe Godof allthe earth.
For a childwill be bornto us, a sonwill be givento us; And the governmentwill reston His shoulders;And His namewill be calledWonderfulCounselor,MightyGod,EternalFather,Princeof Peace.
But the LORDis the true God;He is the livingGodand the everlastingKing.At His wraththe earthquakes,And the nationscannotendureHis indignation.
"In His daysJudahwill be saved,And Israelwill dwellsecurely;And thisis His nameby whichHe will be called,The LORDour righteousness.'
Jesus answeredthem, "To you it has been grantedto knowthe mysteriesof the kingdomof heaven,but to them it has not been granted.
for I will giveyou utteranceand wisdomwhichnoneof your opponentswill be ableto resistorrefute.
ThenHe openedtheir mindsto understandthe Scriptures,
No onehas seenGodat any time;the only begottenGodwho is in the bosomof the Father,He has explained[Him].
"I and the Fatherare one."
"In that dayyou will knowthat I am in My Father,and you in Me, and I in you.
Jesusansweredand saidto him, "IfanyonelovesMe, he will keepMy word;and My Fatherwill lovehim, and We will cometo him and makeOur abodewith him.
Jesussaidto him, "I amthe way,and the truth,and the life;no onecomesto the Fatherbut throughMe.
Jesussaidto him, "Have I beenso longwith you, and [yet] you have not come to knowMe, Philip?He who has seenMe has seenthe Father;how[can] you say,'Showus the Father'?
"Abidein Me, and I in you. As the branchcannotbearfruitof itselfunlessit abidesin the vine,soneither[can] you unlessyou abidein Me.
"I have giventhem Your word;and the worldhas hatedthem, becausethey are not of the world,evenas I amnot of the world.
"O righteousFather,althoughthe worldhas not knownYou, yetI have knownYou; and thesehave knownthat You sentMe;
"Thisis eternallife,that they may knowYou, the onlytrue God,and JesusChristwhomYou have sent.
Thomasansweredand saidto Him, "My Lordand my God!"
Jesussaidto them, "IfGodwere your Father,you would loveMe, for I proceeded forthand have comefrom God,for I have not evencomeon My own initiative,but He sentMe.
"Be on guardfor yourselvesand for allthe flock,amongwhichthe HolySpirithas madeyou overseers,to shepherdthe churchof GodwhichHe purchasedwith His ownblood.
whoseare the fathers,and from whomis the Christaccordingto the flesh,who is overall,Godblessedforever.Amen.
But by His doing you are in ChristJesus,whobecameto us wisdomfrom God,and righteousnessand sanctification,and redemption,
For God,who said,"Lightshall shineout of darkness,"is the One whohas shonein our heartsto give the Lightof the knowledgeof the gloryof Godin the faceof Christ.
Thereforeifanyoneis in Christ,[he is] a newcreature;the old thingspassed away;behold,new thingshave come.
may be ableto comprehendwith allthe saintswhatis the breadthand lengthand heightand depth,
and may be foundin Him, not havinga righteousnessof my ownderivedfrom [the] Law,but that which is throughfaithin Christ,the righteousnesswhich [comes] from Godon the basisof faith,
By common confession,greatis the mysteryof godliness:He whowas revealedin the flesh,Was vindicatedin the Spirit,Seenby angels,Proclaimedamongthe nations,Believedon in the world,Takenup in glory.
lookingfor the blessedhopeand the appearingof the gloryof our greatGodand Savior,ChristJesus,
But of the Son[He says], "YOUR THRONE,O GOD,IS FOREVERAND EVER,AND THE RIGHTEOUSSCEPTERIS THE SCEPTEROF HIS KINGDOM.
Whoeverdeniesthe Sondoes not havethe Father;the one who confessesthe Sonhasthe Fatheralso.
As for you, let that abidein you whichyou heardfrom the beginning.Ifwhatyou heardfrom the beginningabidesin you, you alsowill abidein the Sonand in the Father.
the one who sayshe abidesin Him oughthimselfto walkin the same manneras He walked.
We have seenand testifythat the Fatherhas sentthe Son[to be] the Saviorof the world.
We have come to knowand have believedthe lovewhichGodhasfor us. Godis love,and the one who abidesin loveabidesin God,and Godabidesin him.
By thisyou knowthe Spiritof God:everyspiritthat confessesthat JesusChristhas comein the fleshis from God;
Whoeverbelievesthat Jesusis the Christis bornof God,and whoeverlovesthe Fatherlovesthe [child] bornof Him.
And ifwe knowthat He hearsus [in] whateverwe ask,we knowthat we havethe requestswhichwe have askedfrom Him.
We knowthat noonewho is bornof Godsins;but He who was bornof Godkeepshim, and the evil onedoes not touchhim.
Whois the one who overcomesthe world,but he who believesthat Jesusis the Sonof God?
And they sangthe songof Moses,the bond-servantof God,and the songof the Lamb,saying,"Greatand marvelousare Your works,O LordGod,the Almighty;Righteousand true are Your ways,Kingof the nations!
And I sawheavenopened,and behold,a whitehorse,and He who saton it [is] calledFaithfuland true,and in righteousnessHe judgesand wages war.
"To the angelof the churchin Laodiceawrite:The Amen,the faithfuland true Witness,the Beginningof the creationof God,saysthis:
"And to the angelof the churchin Philadelphiawrite:He who is holy,who is true,who hasthe keyof David,who opensand noonewill shut,and who shutsand no oneopens,saysthis:
and they criedout with a loudvoice,saying,"How long,O Lord,holyand true,will You refrainfrom judgingand avengingour bloodon thosewho dwellon the earth?"
