You are from God,little children,and have overcomethem; becausegreateris He who is in you thanhe who is in the world.

I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfectedin unity,sothat the worldmay knowthat You sentMe, and lovedthem, evenas You have lovedMe.
Whatthenshall we sayto these things?IfGod[is] for us, who[is] againstus?
But in allthese thingswe overwhelmingly conquerthroughHim who lovedus.
Nowwe have received,not the spiritof the world,but the Spiritwhois from God,sothat we may knowthe things freely givento us by God,
Foodis for the stomachand the stomachis for food,but Godwill do awaywith bothof them. Yetthe bodyis not for immorality,but for the Lord,and the Lordis for the body.
in whosecasethe godof thisworldhas blindedthe mindsof the unbelievingsothat they might not seethe lightof the gospelof the gloryof Christ,whois the imageof God.
Orwhatagreementhas the templeof Godwith idols?For we are the templeof the livingGod;justas Godsaid,"I WILL DWELLIN THEM AND WALK AMONGTHEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD,AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
in whichyou formerlywalkedaccordingto the courseof thisworld,accordingto the princeof the powerof the air,of the spiritthat is nowworkingin the sonsof disobedience.
so that Christmay dwellin your heartsthroughfaith;[and] that you, being rootedand groundedin love,
Finally,be strongin the Lordand in the strengthof His might.
My little children,I am writingthese thingsto you sothat you may not sin.And ifanyonesins,we havean Advocatewith the Father,JesusChristthe righteous;
I am writingto you, fathers,becauseyou knowHim who has been from the beginning.I am writingto you, young men,becauseyou have overcomethe evil one.I have writtento you, children,becauseyou knowthe Father.
in whateverour heartcondemnsus; for Godis greaterthan our heartand knowsall things.
The one who keepsHis commandmentsabidesin Him, and He in him. We knowby thisthat He abidesin us, by the SpiritwhomHe has givenus.
By thiswe knowthat we abidein Him and He in us, becauseHe has givenus of His Spirit.
We have come to knowand have believedthe lovewhichGodhasfor us. Godis love,and the one who abidesin loveabidesin God,and Godabidesin him.
We are from God;he who knowsGodlistensto us; he whois not from Goddoes not listento us. By thiswe knowthe spiritof truthand the spiritof error.
We knowthat we are of God,and that the wholeworldliesin [the power of] the evil one.
For whateveris bornof Godovercomesthe world;and thisis the victorythat has overcomethe world--our faith.
