Beloved,ifGodsolovedus, we alsooughtto loveone another.
And he said,"The one who showedmercytowardhim." ThenJesussaidto him, "Goand dothe same."
"A newcommandmentI giveto you, that you loveoneanother,evenas I have lovedyou, that you alsoloveone another.
Let allbitternessand wrathand angerand clamorand slanderbe put awayfrom you, alongwith allmalice.
bearingwith one another,and forgivingeach other,whoeverhasa complaintagainstanyone;justas the Lordforgaveyou, soalsoshould you.
Beloved,I am not writinga newcommandmentto you, but an oldcommandmentwhichyou have hadfrom the beginning;the oldcommandmentis the wordwhichyou have heard.
For thisis the messagewhichyou have heardfrom the beginning,that we should loveone another;
Thisis His commandment,that we believein the nameof His SonJesusChrist,and loveone another,justas He commandedus.
Beloved,let us loveone another,for loveis from God;and everyonewho lovesis bornof Godand knowsGod.
NowI askyou, lady,not as though [I were] writingto you a newcommandment,but the one whichwe have hadfrom the beginning,that we loveone another.
