and everyspiritthat does not confessJesusis not from God;thisis the [spirit] of the antichrist,of whichyou have heardthat it is coming,and nowit is alreadyin the world.
For manydeceivershave goneout into the world,thosewho do not acknowledgeJesusChrist[as] comingin the flesh.Thisis the deceiverand the antichrist.
Whois the liarbut the one who deniesthat Jesusis the Christ?Thisis the antichrist,the one who deniesthe Fatherand the Son.
"For false Christsand false prophetswill ariseand will showgreatsignsand wonders,soas to mislead,ifpossible,eventhe elect.
"For manywill comein My name,saying,'I amthe Christ,'and will misleadmany.
Beloved,do not believeeveryspirit,but testthe spiritsto see whetherthey are from God,becausemanyfalse prophetshave goneout into the world.
"Manywill comein My name,saying,I am[He!]' and will misleadmany.
But false prophetsalsoaroseamongthe people,justas there will alsobe false teachersamongyou, whowill secretly introducedestructiveheresies,evendenyingthe Masterwho boughtthem, bringingswiftdestructionupon themselves.
"Manyfalse prophetswill ariseand will misleadmany.
that they were sayingto you, "In the lasttimethere will be mockers,followingaftertheir ownungodlylusts."
Knowthisfirstof all, that in the lastdaysmockerswill comewith [their] mocking,followingaftertheir ownlusts,
in theselastdayshas spokento us in His Son,whomHe appointedheirof all things,throughwhomalsoHe madethe world.
For He was foreknownbeforethe foundationof the world,but has appearedin theselasttimesfor the sakeof you
who are protectedby the powerof Godthroughfaithfor a salvationreadyto be revealedin the lasttime.
SoJesussaidto them, "Children,you do not haveanyfish,do you?" They answeredHim, "No."
[Do] this,knowingthe time,that it is alreadythe hourfor you to awakenfrom sleep;for nowsalvationis nearerto us thanwhenwe believed.
The nightis almost gone,and the dayis near.Thereforelet us lay asidethe deedsof darknessand puton the armorof light.
The endof all thingsis near;therefore,be of sound judgmentand sober[spirit] for the purpose of prayer.
