Whowill separateus from the loveof Christ?Will tribulation,ordistress,orpersecution,orfamine,ornakedness,orperil,orsword?
Do we not havea rightto eatand drink?
For you tolerateit ifanyoneenslavesyou, anyonedevoursyou, anyonetakesadvantage of you, anyoneexaltshimself, anyonehitsyou in the face.
[we are] afflictedin every way,but not crushed;perplexed,but not despairing;
I know howto get along with humble means,and I alsoknow howto livein prosperity;in anyand everycircumstanceI have learned the secretof being filledand going hungry,bothof having abundanceand suffering need.
persecutions,[and] sufferings,suchas happenedto me at Antioch,at Iconium[and] at Lystra;whatpersecutionsI endured,and out of them allthe Lordrescuedme!
