For nowwe seein a mirrordimly,but thenfaceto face;nowI knowin part,but thenI will knowfullyjustas I alsohave been fully known.
Beloved,nowwe are childrenof God,and it has not appearedas yetwhatwe will be. We knowthat whenHe appears,we will be likeHim, becausewe will seeHim justas He is.
But we all,with unveiledface,beholding as in a mirrorthe gloryof the Lord,are being transformedinto the sameimagefrom gloryto glory,justas from the Lord,the Spirit.
Not that I have alreadyobtained[it] orhave alreadybecome perfect,but I presson sothat I may layholdof that for whichalsoI was laid holdof by ChristJesus.
they will seeHis face,and His name[will be] on their foreheads.
For ifanyoneis a hearerof the wordand not a doer,he is likea manwho looksat his naturalfacein a mirror;
for we walkby faith,not by sight--
"Blessedare the purein heart,for they shall seeGod.
but ifanyonelovesGod,he is knownby Him.
For I considerthat the sufferingsof thispresenttimeare not worthyto be compared with the glorythat is to be revealedto us.
With him I speakmouthto mouth,Even openly,and not in darksayings,And he beholdsthe formof the LORD.Whythen were you not afraidTo speakagainst My servant,against Moses?"
So Jacobnamedthe placePeniel,for [he said], "I have seenGodfaceto face,yet my lifehas been preserved."
"Seethat you do not despiseoneof theselittle ones,for I sayto you that their angelsin heavencontinuallyseethe faceof My Fatherwho is in heaven.
evenas the FatherknowsMe and I knowthe Father;and I lay downMy lifefor the sheep.
Thus the LORDused to speakto Mosesfaceto face,justas a manspeaksto his friend.When Moses returnedto the camp,his servantJoshua,the sonof Nun,a youngman,would not departfrom the tent.
"Sonof man,propounda riddleand speaka parableto the houseof Israel,
"Even aftermy skinis destroyed,Yet from my fleshI shall seeGod;
"Behold,Godis exalted,and we do not know[Him]; The numberof His yearsis unsearchable.
WhenI was a child,I used to speaklikea child,thinklikea child,reasonlikea child;whenI becamea man,I did awaywith childishthings.
