Ifthe wholebodywere an eye,wherewould the hearingbe? Ifthe wholewere hearing,wherewould the sense of smellbe?
He who plantedthe ear,does He not hear?He who formedthe eye,does He not see?
The hearingearand the seeingeye,The LORDhas madebothof them.
And ifthe earsays,"BecauseI amnot an eye,I amnot [a part] of the body,"it is not for thisreasonanythe less[a part] of the body.
But nowGodhas placedthe members,eachoneof them, in the body,justas He desired.
And the eyecannotsayto the hand,"I havenoneedof you"; oragainthe headto the feet,"I havenoneedof you."
Allare not apostles,are they? Allare not prophets,are they? Allare not teachers,are they? Allare not [workers of] miracles,are they?
