He was buriedin his gravein the gardenof Uzza,and Josiahhis sonbecamekingin his place.
His servantsdrovehis bodyin a chariotfrom Megiddo,and broughthim to Jerusalemand buriedhim in his own tomb.Then the peopleof the landtookJehoahazthe sonof Josiahand anointedhim and madehim kingin placeof his father.

Zedekiahwas twenty-oneyearsoldwhen he becameking,and he reignedelevenyearsin Jerusalem.
Jehoiakimwas twenty-fiveyearsoldwhen he becameking,and he reignedelevenyearsin Jerusalem;and he didevilin the sightof the LORDhis God.
For thussaysthe LORDin regardto Shallumthe sonof Josiah,kingof Judah,who becamekingin the placeof Josiahhis father,whowentforthfrom thisplace,"He will neverreturnthere;
Thereforethussaysthe LORDin regardto Jehoiakimthe sonof Josiah,kingof Judah,"They will not lamentfor him: 'Alas,my brother!'or, 'Alas,sister!'They will not lamentfor him: 'Alasfor the master!'or, 'Alasfor his splendor!'
