The sonsof Ephraimwere archersequippedwith bows,[Yet] they turnedbackin the dayof battle.
Out of allthesepeople700choicemenwere left-handed;eachonecould slinga stoneat a hairand not miss.
But when the sonsof Israelcriedto the LORD,the LORDraisedup a delivererfor them, Ehudthe sonof Gera,the Benjamite,a left-handedman.And the sonsof Israelsenttributeby him to Eglonthe kingof Moab.
And Davidputhis handinto his bagand tookfrom it a stoneand slung[it], and struckthe Philistineon his forehead.And the stonesankinto his forehead,so that he fellon his faceto the ground.
