And if your brother has become poor, and his hand has failed with you, then you shall help him; yes, even if he is a stranger or a tenant, so that he may live with you.

He who has pity upon the poor lends to Jehovah, and He will reward his dealing to him.

The stranger that dwells with you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself. For you were strangers in the land of Egypt. I am Jehovah your God.

If your brother has become poor, and has sold his property, and if any of his relatives comes to redeem it, then he shall redeem that which his brother sold.

For I was hungry, and you gave me food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you took Me in;

For you have the poor with you always, and whenever you desire you may do them good. But you do not have Me always.

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return. And your reward shall be great, and you shall be the sons of the Highest. For He is kind to the unthankful and to the evil.

For you have the poor with you always; but you do not always have Me.

And the disciples, as any were prospered, determined each of them to send for ministry to those brothers who lived in Judea,

distributing to the needs of the saints, pursuing hospitality.

If it is possible, as far as is in you, being in peace with all men.

Therefore if your enemy hungers, feed him. If he thirsts, give him drink. For in so doing you shall heap coals of fire on his head.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, for your sakes He became poor, in order that you might be made rich through His poverty.

For indeed regarding the ministry to the saints, it is not necessary for me to write to you.

Only they asked that we remember the poor, which very thing I was eager to do.

You shall not lend for interest to your brother, interest of silver, interest of food, interest of anything that is loaned on interest.

Do not be forgetful of hospitality, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.

But whoever has this world's goods and sees his brother having need, and shuts up his bowels from him, how does the love of God dwell in him?
