For He does not still impose on man to go before God in judgment.
And after all that has come on us for our evil deeds and for our great sin, since You our God have punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and have given us such an escape as this,
For He knows vain men; and when He sees wickedness, will He not search it?
and would tell you the secrets of His wisdom, that sound wisdom is manifold? Know therefore that God forgets for you some of your iniquity.
Oh that one might plead for a man with God, as a man pleads for his neighbor!
There the righteous might reason with Him; and I would be delivered forever from my Judge.
He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their place.
If he will argue with Him, he cannot answer Him one of a thousand.
TZADDI: You are righteous, O Jehovah, and Your judgments are right.
A bruised reed He shall not break, and a smoking wick He shall not quench; He shall bring out judgment to truth.
So says Jehovah, What injustice have your fathers found in Me, that they have gone far from Me and have walked after vanity, and have become vain?
No, but, O man, who are you who replies against God? Shall the thing formed say to Him who formed it, Why have you made me this way?
