Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or stand in the path of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers;

The Lord watches over the strangers; He relieves the fatherless and widow, but the way of the wicked He turns upside down.

Kiss the son, lest He become angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all who seek refuge in Him.

My foot stands on level ground; in the congregations I will bless the Lord.

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.

He devises mischief on his bed; he sets himself on a path that is not good; he does not reject evil.

Hide me from the secret schemes of the wicked, from the turmoil of the workers of iniquity,

So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to walk in their own counsels.

O  Lord of Hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You.

my son, do not walk in the way with them; keep your foot from their path,

“How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? And how long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge.

Good understanding gives favor, but the way of traitors is their destruction.

He who walks with wise men will be wise, but a companion of fools will suffer evil.

Penalties are prepared for scoffers, and beatings for the backs of fools.

to deliver you from the way of evil, from the man who speaks perverse things,

Surely He scorns the scornful, but He gives grace to the humble.

The way of the wicked is like darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble.

If you are wise, you are wise for yourself; if you scoff, you alone will bear it.

I did not sit in the assembly of mockers, nor did I rejoice; I sat alone because of Your hand, for You have filled me with indignation.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.

But I said to their children in the wilderness: Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it.”

He had not consented to their counsel and deed. He was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, and he himself was also waiting for the kingdom of God.

If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

through whom we also have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and so we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, the shield of your help, who is the sword of your majesty! Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will tread upon their high places.

For in earlier times of our lives it may have sufficed us to do what the Gentiles like to do, when we walked in immorality: lusts, drunkenness, carousing, debauchery, and abominable idolatries.

Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
