This is the law for a person who has a leprous sore who cannot afford the offerings for his cleansing.

It is He who remembered us in our low estate, for His mercy endures forever;

When a man has on the skin of his body a swelling, a scab, or spot, and it turns on the skin of his body like a mark of a leprous sore, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons the priests.

This is the law of the leprous disease in a garment of wool or linen, either in the warp or woof, or anything of leather to determine if it is clean or unclean.

On the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb one year old without blemish, and three-tenths of an ephah of wheat flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and one log of oil.

This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: It shall be reported to the priest,

But if he is poor and cannot afford so much, then he shall take one male lamb for a guilt offering to be waved to make atonement for him, and one-tenth of an ephah of wheat flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, and a log of oil,

even such as he is able to get, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering, along with the grain offering, and the priest shall make atonement for him who is to be cleansed before the Lord.

The Lord spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying:

The blind receive their sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
