The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying:
The word of the Lord came to him, saying,
Pour out Your fury upon the nations that do not know You and upon the families that do not call on Your name; for they have eaten up Jacob and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.
Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
