Among these nations you will find no ease, nor will the sole of your foot have rest. But there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing of eyes, and despair of soul.

And on those who are left alive of you I will send faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall make them flee, and they shall flee as from a sword, and they shall fall when no one pursues.

and though they go into captivity before their enemies, from there will I command the sword to slay them. I will set My eyes upon them for evil and not for good.

I heard, and my body trembled; my lips quivered at the sound; rottenness entered my bones; my legs tremble beneath me. Yet I will wait quietly for the day when calamity comes on the people invading us.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

men fainting from fear and expectation of what is coming on the inhabited earth. For the powers of heaven will be shaken.

Let their eyes be darkened, so that they may not see, and always bow down their backs.”

Your life shall hang in doubt before you. You will be in dread day and night and will have no assurance of your life.
